At Lemon & Oak Counselling, we believe that healing happens through connection, compassion, and creating a space where people feel genuinely seen and supported. Kristin embodies these values by offering a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their experiences at their own pace.

With over 15 years of experience in the helping profession, Kristin is a Registered Social Worker dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, families, and youth through life’s challenges and transitions. She believes in a holistic approach to wellness, recognizing the important connection between mind, body, spirit, relationships, and environment. Her goal is to help clients build on their strengths, reconnect with themselves, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.

Kristin works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship concerns, addiction, stress, and major life transitions. She integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, psychotherapy, and Edu-Therapy for grief and loss, while tailoring each session to the unique needs and goals of the individual.

Her professional experience includes supporting Residential School Survivors and individuals impacted by intergenerational trauma, deepening her understanding of resilience, healing, and culturally responsive care. Kristin is a Registered Social Worker with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW), an NIHB Mental Health Provider, and a Certified Edu-Therapy Practitioner.

Clients often describe Kristin as compassionate, approachable, and easy to talk to. She understands that beginning counselling can feel vulnerable and strives to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel accepted, empowered, and never alone in their journey.

Whether you are navigating a difficult life season, processing past experiences, or seeking greater balance and well-being, Kristin is committed to walking alongside you with empathy, respect, and care. Together, you can explore challenges, celebrate strengths, and work toward healing, growth, and a life that feels more aligned with your values.

I believe that mental health is an essential part of overall wellness, and that everyone deserves a space where they feel heard, respected, and supported. My approach to therapy is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to understanding each person’s unique experience.

I work with individuals navigating a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. Whether you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or simply looking to better understand yourself, therapy can be a place to slow down, reflect, and build meaningful change at your own pace.

My style is warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental. I aim to create an environment where you can speak openly and feel safe exploring difficult thoughts and emotions. Together, we focus not only on managing challenges, but also on strengthening resilience, self-awareness, and overall mental wellness.

I integrate self-compassion and mindfulness into my work, helping clients develop a kinder, more supportive relationship with themselves. This can include learning to notice thoughts and emotions without judgment, building awareness of patterns, and creating space to respond rather than react. These practices can support emotional regulation, reduce stress, and foster a greater sense of balance and presence in everyday life.

I view care as more than just addressing symptoms—it’s about supporting the whole person. This includes emotional well-being, healthy coping strategies, and reconnecting with a sense of balance and purpose in your life.

Reaching out for support can be a meaningful step. I’m here to walk alongside you as you move toward greater clarity, stability, and well-being.
